2021 SENIOR BANNERS

SENIOR BANNERS 

I love capturing athletes in action but I also enjoy creating portraits that celebrate their achievements.   It is even more important this year to provide the Class of 2021 with a sense of normalcy since we seem to be so far from it. 

This weekend I had the opportunity to work with the seniors on the KCD Cross Country team to create their senior banners.   

This group of athletes is amazingly impressive both on and off the course.   They are successful both athletically (the teams were awarded  Regional Runner Up last year) and academically, as well as, give back to the community through volunteer work.  I am looking forward to what these young people  are able to accomplish going forward.

To create the banners, a socially distanced studio session following the COVID-19 guidelines was scheduled for each senior.  They came outfitted in their cross country uniforms and we had a fun time capturing their game.face.    Once the photos were taken, the banner was designed and the athlete was composited into the image.  Once completed, the banner is printed and delivered within 2 days.

I was even able to create a Senior Team banner image  by compositing the four single portrait images into a single image.
