EXPERIMENTING WITH THE SCIENCE OF LIGHT

I continued my experiments with color during while staying safe at home during the COVID shutdown.  This time I really geeked out and tapped into my engineering & science background.

In this session, I utilized the Additive Color Theory of Light.  Unlike when using pigments when yellow + blue = green, when using lightwaves yellow + blue = white.

So, by using only 2 lights  - 1 blue on camera  right and 1 yellow on camera left   - I was able to create white light where the lights overlapped in the frame.   Where the lights didn't overlap - specifically in the shadows - color of the individual lights is seen.  The same thing can be done with a green/purple combination or red/cyan combination of lights.

How cool is that?
